ShortestWait is an independent website that republishes NHS England's waiting-time statistics. It is not part of the NHS, and we cannot see or change anyone's place on a waiting list.
Questions about your own treatment
We can't answer questions about your referral, appointment or place on a list. Contact the hospital, or its Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), or speak to your GP. If you need medical help urgently, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
Corrections and questions about the figures
If something on the site looks wrong, email hello@shortestwait.com with the page address and what you noticed. The waiting times are NHS England's published figures, and hospital names and locations come from the NHS Organisation Data Service; we check any reported problem against the source files. Press, researchers and reuse
For press and research enquiries, email hello@shortestwait.com. New figures are published on the second Thursday of each month, and the monthly updates summarise what changed. You can download the data or embed a hospital's figures from its page, free under the Open Government Licence, with attribution.
